@National Arboretum Canberra ACT
I immediately knew this building, Margaret Whitlam Pavilion, would make a good match with setting milky way westerly when I was researching on Google map. I always research for potential location on Google map. Even though I have never seen any image with this building with milky way I could imagine exactly same as this composition as well as the panorama image posted previously. In order to do such a thing you need extensive experience and knowledge in astro-landscape photography. First of all you need to have a special interest in geography. I know there are so many photographers apps out there that you can get easy help from. But I enjoy searching things on Google map. There are so many information you can get from it nowadays. I used to like looking at atlas maps, finding places on the map and capital cities Q&A since when I was a little boy. I think that habit still remains. That's way I still like researching for photographic locations on the map rather than using easy apps.
